Unused Ramanon Logo

Forums of Ramanon, one of my major Web haunts, had a logo contest going on a few weeks back. The design had to both look good full size, as well as be able to retain some distinctiveness when scaled down.

This was my entry. The capital "R" seemed a natural to turn into a Ram's head, rendered in a faux-woodcut/linocut style. The full text could have been used as a banner at the head of a page, and the ram's head, isolated, could serve as a distinctive logo on its own.

Alas, my design could not compete with a very slick CGI steel Valknot that eventually (and unanimously!) got the honour.
